The Community Services Department seeks casual Recreation Facility Clerks reporting to the Recreation Facility Clerk Supervisor. You will provide program information, process registrations, support facility rentals, handle cash, and complete computer work. The position helps deliver recreation services supporting healthy lifestyles and opportunities for play. Work hours and days may vary, with up to 25 hours weekly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service and program information in person
- Answer public inquiries over the telephone
- Register participants using the ActiveNet registration system
- Process facility rentals and POS transactions
- Prepare statistics and complete data entry
Requirements:
- Current and valid CPR certificate
- Strong attention to detail and initiative
- Knowledge of ActiveNet registration system
- Cash handling and Microsoft Word or Excel experience
- Weekend, night, and holiday coverage availability
