This Veterinary Technician Assistant position supports a growing general practice focused on high-quality medicine and client education. You will help technicians manage appointments, walk-ins, and work-ins while supporting veterinarians and communicating patient information. Key Responsibilities:
- Relieve Veterinary Technicians from technical and administrative details
- Support booked appointments, walk-ins, and work-ins
- Assist medical treatments under doctor supervision
- Facilitate communication between operating room and front office
- Support clients, patients, and Client Service Specialists
Requirements:
- Minimum one year of veterinary industry experience
- Understanding of proper, safe animal restraint
- Knowledge of veterinary medical terminology and medication
- Frequent standing, bending, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching
- At least 18 years old at hire
