Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and assist during dental examinations with the Orthodontist
- Take clinical photographs and digital X-rays accurately
- Provide guidance on orthodontic appliance care
- Handle orthodontic emergencies with care and professionalism
- Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and tools
Requirements:
- Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant Program
- Registered as a Dental Assistant in Alberta
- Certification in CPR / Basic Life Support required
- Proficient in written and verbal English
- Previous experience in orthodontics preferred
