Lead Zumba classes at Lindsay Recreation Complex using recognized certification, class instruction, and customer service skills. This is part-time work.
The Skill Specific Trainer delivers assigned Zumba classes within Community Services. The position reports to the Supervisor, Recreation Complex Services, with hours up to 24 weekly, including days, evenings, and weekends. Some travel throughout the City of Kawartha Lakes may be necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and conduct assigned Zumba classes
- Set up and take down required equipment
- Maintain accurate attendance records
- Complete pertinent forms and attend staff meetings
- Promote division health and wellness programs
Requirements:
- Experience instructing Zumba classes
- Recognized Zumba certifications
- Recreation or fitness environment experience
- Current Standard First Aid and CPR
- Customer service, interpersonal, leadership, and software proficiency
