Support rent calculations and tenant services as a Property Management Clerk with the City of Greater Sudbury at 10 Elm Street. This permanent position works 70 hours bi-weekly without shift work.
Within Housing Operations, you will provide clerical support for the Property Manager and team. The work supports Rent-Geared-To-Income public housing and residential tenancy administration. Responsibilities include rent adjustments, annual reviews, lease renewals, vacant-unit offers, tenant files, and service inquiries.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify information for Rent-Geared-To-Income rent calculations
- Prepare rent notices, decisions, and Social Housing Reform Act forms
- Complete annual lease renewals for assigned households
- Process accommodation offers from the Central Registry Wait List
- Prepare move-in files and explain policies to applicants
Requirements:
- Secondary School education plus specialized administrative training
- Over one to two and one-half years of related experience
- Knowledge of housing and residential tenancy legislation
- Strong analytical, mathematical, organizational, and communication skills
- Windows, Word, Excel, YARDI, and English proficiency
