Engineer 60kV to 500kV transmission systems at CIMA+, combining high-voltage design skills with professional engineering judgment in hybrid work. This Transmission Lines Engineer position supports some of Canada’s largest infrastructure projects through the T&D Lines Leadership Team. You will design overhead lines, structures, foundations, and associated facilities in an electric utility environment. The work also includes signed deliverables, design packages, project controls, and support for construction and field activities. Key Responsibilities:
Design overhead transmission lines from 60kV to 500kV Develop PLS-Pole and PLS-Tower structure designs Prepare foundations, hardware assemblies, and design basis documents Develop work packages with scope, duration, and effort estimates Lead projects and support junior engineers Requirements:
At least five years working on transmission projects Professional Engineer registration with a Canadian provincial association Engineering degree or equivalent experience Experience controlling design scope, schedule, and cost Familiarity with drawing standards and MS Office Bring high-voltage transmission design, PLS software, and project leadership capabilities to CIMA+ infrastructure work across Canada.
