CIMA+ is expanding its Energy & Resources team and seeks a knowledgeable engineer with minimum five years’ experience in transmission projects.
You will engage in designing high voltage overhead lines, including wood and steel structures, and ensuring project documentation aligns with rigorous industry standards.
Your expertise will not only involve design, but also collaboration to support junior engineers and lead significant infrastructure initiatives.
Key
Responsibilities
- Design high voltage transmission lines from 60k V to 500k V
- Create wood and steel pole structures with PLS-Pole and PLS-Tower
- Prepare project documentation, including reports and specifications
- Manage design tasks covering scope, schedule, and cost
- Provide technical assistance and oversee construction support
Requirements
- University Degree in Civil, Structural, or Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of experience in transmission engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer in Canada
- Proficiency in CAD systems and design software
- Strong communication skills in English
