The Manager, Prior Authorization and Drug Plan Management, reports to the Director, Clinical Services. This senior leader directs operations, supports service delivery, and guides modernization across client-facing offerings. The position also advises the organization on clinical matters and supports organizational initiatives requiring clinical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead PA and DPM teams toward annual strategic objectives
- Define roadmaps, milestones, owners, timelines, and success measures
- Direct operations while meeting service-level agreements and quality standards
- Guide Prior Authorization implementation, communication, education, and maintenance
- Oversee new client onboarding and post-implementation activities
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy required
- Canadian pharmacy license required
- Preferred five years in pharmacy benefits or related fields
- Three years of progressive leadership experience preferred
- Clinical training or relevant certification preferred; business qualification an asset
