Lead advanced network planning at Ciena, combining optical and IP expertise with AI-enabled optimization methods. Guide global customer and executive engagements. You will lead analysts supporting tactical and strategic initiatives for Ciena’s largest customers. Shape the Navigator Network Control Suite roadmap through customer insight, research, and product hypotheses. Direct technical research across forecasting, capacity planning automation, route and spectrum assignment, failure analysis, and service availability modeling. Partner with product management, engineering, hardware, sales, services, customers, and executives to turn validated concepts into scalable capabilities.

Requirements:

- Experience applying AI tools to software development and planning
- Bring network architecture, optimization, AI judgment, and technical leadership to Ciena’s Navigator planning capabilities and customer solutions.
