À titre d’expert(e) en sinistres route responsabilité civile et professionnelle vous prendrez en charge des réclamations complexes touchant l’assurance des particuliers et des entreprises. Desservant la Rive-Sud de Montréal et ses environs, vous enquêterez et réglerez des dossiers impliquant des dommages matériels et des blessures corporelles, tout en offrant un service-conseil de qualité aux membres et aux différentes parties prenantes.
Vous vous réaliserez dans les fonctions suivantes:
- Enquêter sur les dossiers des sinistres qui lui sont assignés sur la route, notamment en obtenant les déclarations des intervenants concernés
- Détecter les dossiers à potentiel frauduleux et le soumettre à son gestionnaire pour transfert à l’unité spéciale d’enquête
- Analyser la possibilité de déviation de responsabilité (appel en garantie) ou de partage de responsabilité
- Autoriser les règlements et accepter la responsabilité de sinistres selon la limite d’autorité de paiement et obtenir l’autorisation des personnes appropriées pour les dossiers excédent ce montant
- Effectuer des demandes d’avis juridiques dans les cas complexes et prendre par la suite position
- Représenter l’assureur lors de conférence de règlement à l’amiable, partout dans la province
Vos talents et qualifications:
- Diplôme d’études collégiales ou une attestation d’études collégiales en assurances de dommages
- Cumuler 10 années d’expérience à titre d’expert en sinistre route, dont au moins 5 années spécifiquement consacrées au traitement de dossiers en responsabilité civile
- Détenir un certificat d’expert en sinistres en assurance des entreprises valide délivré par l’Autorité des marchés financiers
- Maitrise de la langue française, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit, ainsi qu’une maitrise avancée de la langue anglaise, tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit
