Design end-to-end data solutions with Snowflake and AWS for CI’s Data, Analytics & AI team. Work onsite four days weekly. This Data Solutions Designer role supports investment insights, operational efficiency, and client reporting across CI’s asset management business. You will shape data flows, models, and platform architecture across business intelligence, data science, and third-party consumption. The work requires collaboration with engineers, analysts, quants, and stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design data solutions for business intelligence, analytics, and AI/ML
- Define ingestion, transformation, storage, and delivery flows
- Create flowcharts, data flow diagrams, and interaction models
- Guide architecture and technology choices within AWS and Snowflake
- Review designs for alignment, maintainability, and performance
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field
- Eight or more years in data architecture or engineering
- Experience with Snowflake, AWS, and dbt
- Experience designing data flows and models
- Understanding of governance, privacy, quality, and regulatory considerations
- Apply end-to-end solution design, data modeling, and governance expertise to CI’s regulated asset management environment.
