This permanent, part-time DSP position supports people in daily life and respects their rights to direct their own lives. You will work with individuals and their connections, helping them learn skills for personal growth and development. Schedules vary according to program needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist people with developmental disabilities in daily life
- Support individuals in their homes and communities
- Work with people and their connections
- Recognize each person's unique gifts and needs
- Support skill learning for growth and development
Requirements:
- Full G license is required
- Minimum 32 hours bi-weekly in a permanent part-time role
- Availability for varied rotating shifts
- Availability for at least two weekends monthly
- Related post-secondary education is an asset
