As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will support residents' health, safety, and daily experience within a welcoming residence. You will monitor health status, administer treatments, document care, and collaborate with interdisciplinary professionals. The position also includes supporting transitions, addressing concerns, and guiding care staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care under College of Nurses standards
- Monitor health, administer medications, and document care
- Support resident transitions and inform families
- Respond to concerns and escalate appropriately
- Guide personal support workers and care staff
Requirements:
- Current provincial College of Nurses registration in good standing
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Strong assessment, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication with residents, families, and colleagues
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
