As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will support residents' health and well-being while building meaningful relationships. Your work includes assessment, medication administration, documentation, communication, and coordinated care. You will help create a safe, welcoming resident experience through professional nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care under College of Nurses standards
- Monitor health, administer medications, and document care
- Support resident transitions and inform families
- Respond to concerns and escalate when needed
- Guide care staff and participate in quality improvement
Requirements:
- Current provincial College of Nurses registration
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Flexible hours and required screening checks
