Design Ontario roads with Civil 3D and AutoCAD at Crozier, based in Burlington or Guelph within its Transportation Engineering team. As a Senior Roads Designer, you bring 5+ years of road design experience across public sector and private land development projects. Develop solutions from preliminary design through detailed design, tender, and construction. Apply TAC, MTO, municipal, and Ontario standards across varied transportation assignments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Produce plan, profile, staging, signage, and cross-section drawings
- Design roads, intersections, roundabouts, and active transportation facilities
- Develop alignments, corridor models, grading, and drainage infrastructure
- Prepare estimates, design briefs, quantities, and tender documents
- Provide QA/QC, construction support, and junior staff mentorship
Requirements:
- 5+ years of public and private road design experience
- Certified Engineering Technologist, Technician, or Professional Engineer
- Demonstrated Civil 3D and AutoCAD road design experience
- Knowledge of Ontario, MTO, municipal, OPSS, and TAC standards
- Valid Ontario driver’s licence and willingness to travel
