Bring field safety leadership to Certarus in Grande Prairie, supporting inspections, incident investigations and safer work practices across Canadian operations. Travel is required. This HSE and Transportation Specialist provides hands-on technical guidance to employees and operational leaders. You will identify hazards, verify controls and help improve field practices through coaching and investigations. Collaboration with Operations, Transportation Compliance and Training supports programs, competency assessments and transportation compliance. Key Responsibilities:
Lead or support incident investigations and corrective actions Review hazard reports, observations and task risk assessments Facilitate safety meetings, training and field engagement Inspect equipment, work areas and environmental conditions Support regulatory, client and prequalification audits Requirements:
Five years of related HSE or transportation compliance experience Field operations and HSE program implementation experience Incident investigation, coaching and corrective action experience Strong Canadian occupational safety and dangerous goods knowledge Ability to travel approximately 30% and support on-call operations Use field inspections, coaching and incident investigation skills to strengthen safety practices throughout Certarus Western Canadian operations.
