Start date: When your first clients sign with Centripetal
Compensation (USD, with FX protection if the Canadian dollar strengthens): For candidates bringing a book of two to three clients, expect to earn $200K–$235K in a strong year. Pay is a base salary plus an annual bonus, an uncapped premium that grows with the clients you carry, and commission on the clients you bring, the new business you win, and the referrals your clients send the firm.

Who you are: You run a fractional CFO practice in Canada with recurring clients who would come with you. You’ve sat in the operator seat as a Head of Finance, VP Finance, CFO, or fractional CFO at growth-stage B2B companies. You’ve raised capital from equity investors or lenders, and you’ve taken a board pack from blank doc to investor-ready. You like the client side of the work: you build relationships and keep bringing in new clients. You teach, and you want people around you who get better. You’re a strong writer and a clear communicator. Founders like talking to you because you give straight answers.
What you’ll do:
- Lead your clients end to end, as you do today, with a team behind you.
- Run raises with a capital markets team that has closed 25 transactions.
- Bring in new clients, and earn on every one.
- Train the analysts who work with you, and help build the playbooks and automation we all use.
