Operate Cenovus’s Wapiti oil battery near Grande Prairie using strong field operations and compression troubleshooting skills. Work full-time on an 8-on, 6-off shift rotation. As an experienced Wapiti Operator, you will independently operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize wells, pipelines, compression systems, and related facilities. You will take ownership of your area while supporting safe, reliable, and efficient Northern Corridor Operations. Oil treating and compression experience is an asset. Key Responsibilities:
Operate and optimize wells, pipelines, compression systems, and facilities Improve production, equipment uptime, reliability, and operating efficiency Conduct hazard assessments and initiate Safe Work Permits Manage call-outs and troubleshoot compression system issues independently Supervise contractors and support well and facility start-ups Requirements:
Minimum five years’ experience Minimum Grade 12 education Oil and gas treating experience is an asset Compression experience is an asset Class 5 driver’s license and satisfactory driving record Bring experienced field operations, compression troubleshooting, and safety leadership to Cenovus’s Wapiti facilities near Grande Prairie.
