We are seeking a highly collaborative and strategic Digital Experience Manager to join our client's team. In this fast-paced leadership role, you will define and execute a long-term website vision, guiding complex, multi-site digital environments and driving continuous enhancements across residential and commercial web properties. This is a full-time, permanent position operating in a hybrid workplace model (requiring 3 days per week onsite in Etobicoke, Ontario, with mandatory attendance on Tuesdays and Wednesdays).

As the Digital Experience Manager, you will serve as the strategic and operational leader behind our client's digital presence, propelling their online platforms to a market-leading position. Managing both internal team members (UX Designer; Web Developer & Analytics Lead) and external agency partners (web development and SEO), you will ensure that web properties deliver against business objectives, satisfy customer needs, generate qualified leads, and reinforce brand positioning. You will oversee the end-to-end digital journey, lead enterprise organic growth strategy across traditional and emerging search channels (including SEO, GEO, and AEO), and leverage data-driven analytics to continuously optimize site performance.

Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the website vision, roadmap, and KPIs for residential websites, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives, customer needs, and brand standards.
  • Offer strategic input and technical guidance to cross-functional teams overseeing commercial and e-commerce web properties.
  • Lead, mentor, and develop internal direct reports (Web Development & Analytics Lead, UX/UI Designer) while managing external agency partners to execute high-impact digital initiatives.
  • Drive UX/UI strategy, customer journey mapping, website redesigns, and digital experience enhancements to elevate engagement, usability, accessibility, and conversion rates.
  • Oversee user research, usability testing, heatmapping, customer feedback analysis, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) programs.
  • Oversee site functionality, ongoing maintenance, accessibility, security, and technical infrastructure to maintain a high-performing digital experience.
  • Lead the digital content strategy in partnership with communications teams to ensure content aligns with customer journeys, SEO objectives, brand standards, and web governance best practices.
  • Oversee website integrations and digital infrastructure, collaborating with agency and IT partners to optimize data flows, martech tools, and lead generation capabilities.
  • Develop and lead the enterprise search strategy to maximize visibility, traffic, and lead generation across search ecosystems.
  • Partner with agency teams on technical SEO, content optimization, and site architecture improvements while advancing Generative Engine Optimization (GEO), Answer Engine Optimization (AEO), AI Overview visibility, and AI-powered search readiness.
  • Stay ahead of evolving search technologies, algorithms, and AI platforms to capture new organic growth opportunities.
  • Lead overall web measurement and performance reporting.
  • Leverage Google Analytics, Looker Studio, and user behavior data to generate actionable insights that guide executive decision-making.

Requirements Must-Have Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in website management, digital experience, or digital marketing.
  • 7+ years of leadership experience managing direct reports, external agencies, or cross-functional teams.
  • Extensive experience managing complex, multi-site website environments (ideally WordPress) with PIM and ERP integrations.
  • Proven track record leading large-scale website redesigns, major site enhancements, or digital transformation initiatives.
  • Strong expertise in UX/UI principles, customer journey mapping, web accessibility standards, information architecture, and conversion optimization.
  • Deep knowledge of technical SEO, content strategy, and search performance measurement, including optimization for AI-powered search, AI Overviews, and answer engines.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Looker Studio), heatmapping tools, and performance reporting.
  • Strong strategic and operational leadership capabilities with a proven track record of influencing senior stakeholders and executing in a fast-paced environment.

Competitive base salary with bonus opportunity, 3 weeks paid vacation plus December holiday closure, comprehensive health, dental, and life insurance benefits package, corporate profit-sharing program and escalating pension match (after 1 year), employee product discounts.
