Celestica seeks an SMT Process Engineer for a contract full-time assignment of approximately nine months. You will bridge design and manufacturing while developing processes, tooling, and application software. The work supports customer products and early-stage production challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and integrate new products onto surface mount lines
- Develop robust thermal profiles and placement programs
- Validate first-article builds for successful product launches
- Design and implement manufacturing processes for customer products
- Solve technical product and process problems affecting production
Requirements:
- Two to three years of direct SMT process engineering experience
- Bachelor degree or equivalent education and experience
- Experience applying root-cause analysis to production challenges
- Knowledge of Design of Experiments and statistical methods
- Canadian citizenship or permanent residence for Controlled Goods requirements
