As an experienced Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist, you will report to the Vocational Rehabilitation Service Lead. You will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, employers, and clients. Your work will address employment barriers, build employability skills, and support workforce reintegration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and prioritize a vocational rehabilitation caseload efficiently
- Assess barriers, goals, and service needs using client-centered approaches
- Develop, deliver, and evaluate customized employment plans
- Teach practical and soft skills for employment research
- Build employer contacts and support client placements
Requirements:
- Post-secondary education in any field
- Experience as a Vocational Rehabilitation Specialist
- Ability to foster reliable stakeholder and client relationships
- Ability to complete timely reporting and case reviews
- RRP, CCRC, CDMP, CCDP, CVRP, or RTWDM considered an asset
