Lead high-impact corporate events in Vancouver for Cassels Brock & Blackwell LLP, using project management and stakeholder-management skills. Deliver polished client experiences across formats. As Senior Events Planner, you will work within Marketing & Business Development and report to the Manager, Events & Client Experience. The role covers client events, sponsorship activations, selected internal programs, and recruiting events. You will advise lawyers and stakeholders while advancing client relationships, business development objectives, and the firm’s brand.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan and execute seminars, conferences, dinners, retreats, and virtual events
- Advise stakeholders on formats, venues, vendors, and guest experience
- Manage sponsorship deliverables, branding, engagement, and evaluation
- Oversee contracts, catering, registration, transportation, signage, and on-site delivery
- Manage budgets, invoices, reporting, records, and CRM data
Requirements:
- Six-plus years planning complex corporate events
- Law firm or professional services experience strongly preferred
- Strong project management and stakeholder-management skills
- Experience managing event budgets, vendors, and contracts
- Vancouver venue knowledge and Microsoft Office proficiency
