Caseware, a pioneering Fintech company in Canada, seeks a Legal Operations Manager to optimize the efficiency of its four-lawyer legal department. This role directly reports to the General Counsel and encompasses responsibilities in vendor management, contract processes, and system improvements. You will shape legal operations from the ground up, maximizing the team's impact across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer and improve contract lifecycle management platform
- Design workflows for contract intake and review processes
- Manage relationships and budgets with outside counsel
- Maintain the legal department budget and metrics
- Support end-to-end contract processes for Sales and Procurement teams
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, legal studies, or a related field
- 3-7 years in legal operations or similar environment
- Experience with CLM and legal technology tools
- Strong project management expertise
- Excellent communication skills for working with diverse stakeholders
