Bring long-term care food service experience to Caressant Care as a Dietary Aide serving residents in St. Thomas, Ontario. This is a part-time position.
Caressant Care has created caring home environments across Ontario for over 50 years. As a Dietary Aide, you will support food service in long-term care. Experience with geriatric care, texture-modified diets, therapeutic spreadsheets, and production spreadsheets is an asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support food service within a long-term care home
- Work with texture-modified diets and related requirements
- Apply therapeutic spreadsheets to assigned food service tasks
- Complete production spreadsheets as required
- Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors
Requirements:
- Long-term care food service experience is an asset
- Geriatric or long-term care experience is beneficial
- Food Service Worker Certificate completion
- Food Handler Training Program completion or required commitment
- Ability to read and write English
