Deliver community nursing care as a Registered Nurse with Carefor in Ottawa, using assessment, care planning, and evidence-informed practice. This is a part-time permanent 0.7 FTE position at the Ottawa Belfast Clinic.
The Registered Nurse provides cost-effective, client-centered care to individuals and families in the community. You will develop and revise care plans, perform technical nursing skills, provide health teaching, and document care clearly. The position also includes teaching and delegating tasks to different levels of workers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Complete client assessments using established procedures
- Develop care plans with clients and families
- Implement nursing interventions according to care plans
- Manage wounds as a wound champion
- Evaluate and document client responses to care
Requirements:
- Registration with the College of Nurses in Ontario
- High tech nursing skills and IV restart experience
- Excellent documentation and problem-solving skills
- Valid G2 driver's license and insured reliable vehicle
- Community health care experience preferred
