As a senior structural engineer, you will support Barr’s multidisciplinary Engineering and Design group. Your work will focus primarily on dam structures, hydropower facilities, and flood control structures. You will apply structural analysis, project coordination, and client communication across technical assignments. Key Responsibilities:
Complete dam safety reviews, audits, and inspections Analyze and design hydraulic structures Lead project planning, coordination, and execution Track milestones and update project managers and clients Maintain relationships with dam and hydropower clients Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in structural or civil engineering Ten years of relevant experience Professional Engineer certification and PE certification AutoCAD or Revit and structural analysis software experience Knowledge of Canadian Dam Association safety guidelines Apply structural engineering, dam safety, and project leadership expertise across Barr’s hydropower and flood control work.
