Support seniors at Weston Terrace Community as a Registered Practical Nurse, delivering compassionate care, resident assessments, and effective communication.
This temporary part-time assignment is in Toronto.
As part of the Sienna Senior Living team, you will help residents experience comfort, dignity, and respect.
Reporting to the Director of Care, you will oversee care, communicate with families, guide staff, and follow physician orders, resident care plans, established policies, and your RPN/LPN scope.
Geriatrics, rehabilitation, or senior health experience is an asset.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee resident care and maintain regular family communication
- Provide guidance to staff supporting residents
- Create a welcoming environment through teamwork and communication
- Complete ongoing resident assessments and status-change reviews
- Deliver nursing and personal care using sound practice principles
Requirements
- Good-standing registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
- Experience in geriatrics, rehabilitation, or senior health is an asset
- Sound judgement and ability to identify risk
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada or valid work permit
- Required Vulnerable Sector or Criminal Record Check
