Provide resident-centred nursing care as a Registered Practical Nurse at Case Manor in Bobcaygeon, Ontario, across temporary full-time day shifts.
Reporting to the Director of Care, this six-month assignment supports residents within Sienna Senior Living. The role requires nursing care, resident assessment, communication, and staff guidance. Twelve-hour shifts total 75 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care under established policies and physician orders
- Deliver excellent nursing and personal care
- Communicate with residents, families, and staff effectively
- Oversee resident care and guide assigned staff
- Supervise Personal Support Workers and unregulated team members
Requirements:
- Registered Practical Nurse in good standing with Ontario College of Nurses
- Experience in geriatrics, rehabilitation, or senior health is an asset
- Good judgment and ability to identify risk
- Legal eligibility to work in Canada
- Successful Vulnerable Sector or Criminal Record Check
