As a casual Registered Practical Nurse with Sienna Senior Living, you will support residents' health, safety, and well-being. The position emphasizes medication administration, assessments, documentation, and individualized care plans. You will also guide unregulated care workers within the home.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to residents
- Prepare and administer prescribed medications and treatments
- Complete assessments, RAPS, and individualized care plans
- Document concerns and communicate with residents, families, and teams
- Guide, direct, train, and educate unregulated care workers
Requirements:
- Current Registered Practical Nurse registration with College of Nurses of Ontario
- Minimum one year geriatric nursing, healthcare, or rehabilitation experience
- Strong medication administration knowledge and documentation skills
- Excellent communication and follow-up abilities
- Valid Canadian work eligibility and Vulnerable Sector Check
