Reporting to an Associate Director of Care, you will support residents within the Long Term Care team. Build relationships with residents and families while providing care aligned with individual plans. Your work includes hygiene, grooming, communication, mobility support, and resident participation in programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support eating, dressing, hygiene, and grooming activities
- Encourage use of glasses and hearing aids
- Administer prescribed medication after additional training
- Maintain access to walkers, canes, and call bells
- Provide cognitive, social, emotional, spiritual, and oral care
Requirements:
- Completed approved Personal Support Worker program
- Internationally Educated Nurse with a Nursing degree accepted
- Proficiency in simple treatment procedures and bedside care
- Compassionate approach supporting seniors' daily lives
- Successful Vulnerable Sector Check required
