Apply medium and low voltage expertise as an Electrical Engineer with Capital Engineering in Edmonton’s fully office-based team. Support projects from estimate through commissioning. This Intermediate/Senior Electrical Engineer provides technical expertise across engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning. You will design electrical deliverables, coordinate multidisciplinary work, and apply Canadian and international codes. The position supports industrial projects involving utility, oil and gas, oil sands, refinery, and related environments. Key Responsibilities:
Design and review electrical drawings and material take offs Develop work packages and resolve technical deviations Coordinate electrical activities with other engineering disciplines Assess hazards and support equipment troubleshooting Review vendor drawings and technical bid evaluations Requirements:
Electrical Engineering degree and APEGA Professional Engineer designation Experience with medium and low voltage distribution systems Knowledge of API, NFPA, CSA, and IEEE standards Industrial project design experience in brownfield or greenfield settings Fluent written and spoken English Bring electrical design, industrial project, and power distribution expertise to Capital Engineering’s Edmonton office-based engineering team.
