Design road and railway bridges with AtkinsRéalis on Canada’s Alto high-speed rail project, applying structural analysis and engineering expertise. Support major infrastructure delivery through technical leadership. Reporting to the Bridges and Structures Team Lead, the Senior Engineer performs planning, design, calculation verification, and technical studies. The work supports bridge projects across the Québec City to Toronto railway network. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, and business units while reviewing drawings, calculations, specifications, and operational requirements. Key Responsibilities:
Deliver road and railway bridge structure projects Define technical solutions and perform structural calculations Review engineering calculations, drawings, and technical specifications Prepare quantities, schedules, cost estimates, and tender support Mentor junior engineers and participate in technical committees Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, specializing in Structural Engineering Membership in OIQ or Professional Engineers Ontario More than eight years of bridge design experience Experience participating in major infrastructure projects and project management French proficiency, basic English, and strong communication skills Apply bridge design, structural analysis, and technical leadership expertise to advance AtkinsRéalis infrastructure projects across Canada.
