Reporting to the Associate Vice President, Automotive Maintenance, Care & Accessories, the Category Business Manager owns financial and strategic plans. You will translate customer insights and market trends into executable strategies for Auto Cleaning, while guiding assortment architecture, lifecycle management, innovation, and store execution. The work spans national brands, exclusive brands, and private label.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver sales, shipments, margin, and inventory-turn financial plans
- Develop three-year strategies aligned with automotive and enterprise priorities
- Lead assortment, pricing, promotion, and innovation pipelines
- Build vendor partnerships through negotiations and joint business planning
- Coach CBAs and cross-functional partners through performance management
Requirements:
- Five years of category management or relevant cross-functional experience
- Business planning expertise supporting financial and operational targets
- Knowledge of retail marketing, consumer trends, and inventory management
- Strong leadership, communication, influence, and people management skills
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience; travel two to four weeks annually
