Lead finance systems, reporting, and payroll operations as Finance Manager with CMHA Simcoe County in Barrie, Ontario. This full-time temporary appointment lasts two years.
The Finance Manager provides strategic leadership across accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, payroll, and HRIS systems. You will support transformational software implementations, establish internal controls, and guide compliance with PSAS, GAAP, and Ontario Healthcare Reporting Standards. The role also supports senior leadership and Board reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead finance, budgeting, payroll, and HRIS systems operations
- Implement internal controls around key financial functions
- Establish monthly financial and ministry reporting structures
- Prepare reconciliations, accounting reports, and Ontario Health Reporting
- Supervise, coach, and support finance staff
Requirements:
- Seven to ten years in accounting or financial management
- Degree in accounting, finance, business administration, or related discipline
- Active Chartered Professional Accountant designation preferred
- Demonstrated supervisory and leadership experience
- Reliable transportation and Vulnerable Sector Check required
