CareRx seeks a Pharmacist for its specialty pharmacy serving long-term care, retirement, and congregate living communities. Under the designated Pharmacy Manager, you will support therapeutic appropriateness and personalized patient care. The work includes critical medications, palliative prescriptions, deliveries, and collaboration with resident care teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Dispense medication orders accurately, safely, timely, and completely
- Verify medication administration and assess critical medications
- Respond rapidly to palliative care prescriptions
- Manage medication procedure and profile reviews
- Maintain inventory and support pharmacy team training
Requirements:
- Licensed and in good standing with British Columbia's College of Pharmacists
- Strong organization, planning, and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize using critical thought processes
- Knowledge of Kroll Windows preferred
- Injections and APA certification preferred
