Canada Post seeks an on-call relief carrier for temporary employment in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. You will work independently while serving various communities and maintaining local knowledge. The position requires organized delivery practices, secure mail handling, and operation of a motor vehicle.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort, collect, and deliver mail safely and promptly
- Maintain knowledge of roads, customers, and delivery receptacles
- Secure mail items while in your possession
- Process Change of Address and other CPC services
- Lift and carry items weighing up to 50 pounds
Requirements:
- Valid permanent provincial Class 5 or G driver's license
- Satisfactory safe driving record with driver's abstract
- Experience making deliveries in varied traffic conditions
- Ability to operate a motor vehicle in all weather
- Vehicle cargo capacity of at least 100 cubic feet
