This role reports to the Manager, External Reporting, focusing on preparing consolidated financial statements under IFRS. Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and auditors to ensure timely, accurate disclosures as a TSX-listed company. Your efforts will enhance financial transparency and compliance, allowing Canada Packers to thrive sustainably.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare quarterly and annual consolidated financial statements
- Support Management's Discussion & Analysis preparation
- Manage period-end close activities and reconciliations
- Liaise with auditors to resolve queries during reviews
- Enhance compliance with auditing and financial reporting standards
Requirements:
- Post-Secondary Education in Accounting or Business
- 1-3 years in financial reporting or audit experience
- Knowledge of IFRS and public company disclosure
- Advanced Excel and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
