CMHC is hiring an Accounting Clerk intern from May through August 2027. You will process accounts payable, accounts receivable, vendor requisitions, cash management transactions, and master data records. The internship includes training resources, projects, and networking sessions supporting development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable, receivable, requisition, and cash transactions
- Create and maintain vendor and customer master data
- Prepare payment requests, journal vouchers, and receipt records
- Verify approvals, coding, and supporting documentation for compliance
- Review reports and explain financial implications to clients
Requirements:
- Currently enrolled or recently graduated in accounting, finance, or business
- Previous accounting, accounts payable, or accounts receivable experience
- Spreadsheet and reporting tool proficiency, including MS Excel
- Knowledge of accepted accounting principles
- Strong communication, organization, planning, and independent work skills
