- You will orchestrate all project phases—from conception through completion—managing budgets, schedules, stakeholder relationships, and quality standards.
- This role has a specific focus on clean room and advanced manufacturing projects, where precision, technical coordination, and rigorous financial control are essential to success.
- Beyond execution excellence, you will mentor team members, cultivate client relationships, and actively contribute to business development initiatives that position JLL for continued growth in the Quebec market.
What your day-to-day will look like:
- Manage Multiple Projects: Oversee various projects simultaneously across different development phases, ensuring alignment with client expectations and project goals.
- Serve as Primary Client Contact: Proactively communicate project status, risks, and opportunities to clients and internal management teams.
- Control Project Scope, Budget, and Schedule: Develop control budgets and baseline schedules, monitor costs, track variances, forecast cost to complete and cash flow, and deliver regular status reports while maintaining specified quality levels.
- Lead Stakeholder Coordination: Direct the activities of clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers, authorities having jurisdiction (AHJs), and other stakeholders; negotiate with landlords and coordinate base building and tenant improvement scopes.
- Manage Contracts and Procurement: Develop contracting strategies, procure services, negotiate agreements, and hold parties accountable to contract terms.
- Conduct Project Meetings and Documentation: Lead project meetings in both English and French, generate meeting minutes, prepare progress reports, and maintain complete, accurate, and audit-ready project documentation using JLL's project management technology (Clarizen).
- Mitigate Risks and Troubleshoot Issues: Foresee, track, and mitigate project risks; proactively problem-solve to eliminate project surprises and ensure seamless delivery.
- Deliver Clean Room and Advanced Manufacturing Projects: Lead the planning and delivery of clean rooms, manufacturing spaces, and other technically complex facilities, coordinating cleanliness classification, contamination control, process tool installation, mechanical and electrical systems, and commissioning with design teams, specialty contractors, and the client's operations and engineering groups.
- Manage Project Financials and Forecasting: Own project financial performance, including budgets, commitments, change orders, invoicing, and monthly forecasts, and clearly explain variances and forecast changes to clients and internal leadership.
Required Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience delivering new build and renovation projects from conception to completion.
- Clean room or advanced manufacturing experience: Direct experience building clean rooms or advanced manufacturing spaces (for example semiconductor, pharmaceutical, or similar controlled environments), including familiarity with classified environments, contamination control, and specialized mechanical, electrical, and process systems.
- Engineering, Architecture, or similarly applicable degree from an accredited institution.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills: Articulate, responsive, and highly organized with proven ability to build trust with clients, landlords, developers, consultants, and contractors. Excellent written and verbal skills, including the ability to lead effective meetings and write clear, concise reports and correspondence for senior stakeholders.
- Project financial management: Demonstrated ability to manage project budgets, produce accurate forecasts, track commitments and change orders, and report financial status to clients and senior leadership.
- Fluency in French and English: Ability to speak, read, and write in both languages in order to lead meetings and engage clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities in Quebec.
- Proven leadership capabilities: Experience fostering accountability, collaboration, and innovation while supervising, training, and mentoring team members.
- Strategic business acumen: Demonstrated ability to cultivate business relationships, lead pursuit strategies, and secure new projects.
