Lead facility operations across Waterloo or Ottawa properties, using Entrata and building systems expertise to maintain safe, reliable assets. Travel between properties is required.
The Facility Manager oversees assigned properties and supports resident experience, leasing execution, and asset performance. This role manages work orders, inspections, vendors, compliance records, budgets, and capital planning through Entrata. The position also leads Facility Supervisors and maintenance staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Own property condition, safety, and operational functionality
- Plan and oversee preventative and reactive maintenance
- Lead maintenance staff through coaching and daily direction
- Manage vendors, contractors, scopes, schedules, and performance
- Coordinate unit readiness, turnovers, and move-ins with Leasing
Requirements:
- Five to eight years of facilities or maintenance management experience
- Knowledge of building systems, preventative maintenance, and asset management
- Experience leading teams and external vendors
- Proficiency with Entrata, reporting tools, and Microsoft Office
- Post-secondary facilities, building operations, engineering, or related education preferred
