Shape Camis’s AI-enabled platform architecture through Clean Architecture and secure-by-design engineering. Lead technical direction for software serving parks across North America. As Principal Architect, you will define architectural vision for the Parks & Recreation platform. Partner with the CTO, engineering leadership, Product, and development teams on scalable, secure, maintainable systems. Guide complex decisions, emerging technology evaluation, and responsible AI-assisted development practices. Key Responsibilities:
Evolve platform architecture and influence technical roadmaps Define system boundaries, integrations, data flows, and standards Lead designs for complex, high-risk initiatives Guide AI tools, workflows, governance, and architectural patterns Mentor senior engineers and emerging architects Requirements:
10+ years progressive software engineering experience At least 5 years in formal architecture leadership Recent history shipping code and reviewing designs Experience with AI-assisted development governance CI/CD, automated testing, production operations, and postmortems Bring architectural leadership, AI governance, and software engineering discipline to Camis’s reservation technology platform.
