This Personal Support Worker position reports to the Nursing Resource Team Manager and supports patients, families, and staff. Duties include activities of daily living, patient flow, electronic documentation, and customer service. The successful candidate practices within education scope and receives direction from Registered staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate effectively with patients, staff, and families
- Provide excellent customer service throughout patient care
- Assist with patients' daily living activities
- Measure vital signs and document care electronically
- Work cooperatively with interdisciplinary team members
Requirements:
- Recognized Personal Support Worker Certificate required
- HSPCOA registration required
- Current BCLS certification required
- Experience with varied patient populations
- Ability to prioritize, multitask, and remain flexible
