Design enterprise solutions for Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries, translating business requirements into secure, reusable architectures and integrated systems. Report to a Manager. As a Solution Architect, you will lead architecture, design, and delivery of tactical and strategic business solutions. You will apply Enterprise Architecture principles, processes, and models across application systems and networked software architectures. Your work ensures business needs, availability, privacy, and architectural standards are addressed end-to-end.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop holistic architectures for MBLL systems and promote solution reuse
- Define technologies, interfaces, linkages, shared services, and integrated frameworks
- Produce solution architecture documents and integration models
- Translate business requirements into solution options with project teams
- Coordinate vendors, technical resources, reviews, and design teams
Requirements:
- Recognized IT degree or diploma, or equivalent education and experience
- Minimum ten years of Information Technology related experience
- Minimum five years of advanced domain experience
- Strong software evaluation and data privacy knowledge
- Strong analytical, communication, presentation, and organizational skills
- Apply enterprise architecture, solution reuse, privacy practices, and stakeholder collaboration to deliver aligned MBLL technology solutions.
