As a Field of Play Technician, you will report to the Field of Play Supervisor or Event Back of House Manager. Your responsibilities will include maintaining ice surfaces, managing facility cleanliness, and coordinating temperature controls. You will collaborate with multiple teams, ensuring events run safely and efficiently while adhering to professional sports standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair playing surfaces and facilities
- Ensure compliance with ice quality regulations
- Prepare rinks for games, events, or practices
- Perform routine checks on refrigeration systems
- Use Building Preventative Maintenance software
Requirements:
- Experience in community rinks or leisure centers
- Relevant certifications: AARFP, First Aid
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
- Strong attention to detail and organization
- Previous ice resurfacing experience
