The Pastry Chef oversees production across restaurants, suites, clubs, concessions, banquets, and special events. This hands-on leader supports desserts, pastries, cakes, breads, ice cream, chocolates, and specialty baked goods. The position also guides the pastry team and coordinates daily execution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead pastry production across outlets and large-scale functions
- Prepare and oversee diverse pastry and baked products
- Schedule, delegate, and monitor daily production activities
- Maintain quality, presentation, consistency, and food safety
- Support menu development, recipe creation, and seasonal features
Requirements:
- One to two years of progressive pastry experience
- Pastry Arts Diploma or equivalent formal culinary education
- Five years of supervisory or management experience preferred
- Experience managing and developing five or more employees
- Knowledge of classical and contemporary pastry techniques
