Support preschool learning as an RECE Occasional Educator at Bayview Glen in Toronto, providing classroom coverage and whole-child care. Work on call Monday to Friday between 7:30 am and 6:00 pm.
Bayview Glen seeks RECE Occasional Educators for its Preschool division during the 2026-2027 school year. You will support children aged two and three when Educators are absent, maintaining safety, engagement, and positive family relationships. The role includes indoor and outdoor supervision, meals, and cleaning.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide classroom coverage when Educators are absent
- Ensure child safety and follow health guidelines
- Supervise indoor and outdoor free play
- Serve snacks and lunch
- Clean and sanitize childcare spaces, toys, and equipment
Requirements:
- Registered Early Childhood Educator in good standing
- University degree or college diploma in Early Childhood Development
- One to two years' Preschool experience
- Valid child and infant First Aid and CPR certification
- Current immunizations and new TB results
