Operate turf equipment at Cabot Revelstoke in Revelstoke, British Columbia. Support golf course maintenance, construction, irrigation, and safe daily property care.
Reporting to the Golf Course Assistant Superintendent, this full-time seasonal technician supports a new and growing team. The work includes motorized equipment, manual construction tasks, sediment and erosion control, and golf course upkeep. The position runs April through November.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate trimmers, brushing saws, mowers, and utility vehicles
- Install, inspect, replace, and repair erosion controls
- Hand-water assigned golf course areas using hoses
- Collect debris and garbage throughout the property
- Inspect, clean, detail, and store equipment daily
Requirements:
- Knowledge of safe motorized equipment operation
- Ability to operate gasoline and diesel engines safely
- Ability to follow oral and written directions
- Flexibility for mornings, evenings, weekdays, and weekends
- Ability to work outdoors and lift up to 100 pounds
