As an Underwriter, you will assess policy transactions and claims according to company standards, underwriting guidelines, and delegated authority. Your three to five years of personal lines experience informs advice to front-line agents and brokers. Strong organization, communication, and Microsoft Suite proficiency support effective daily work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide accurate product advice to front-line insurance professionals
- Ensure underwriting compliance within delegated authority
- Analyze endorsements, renewals, reissues, and cancellations
- Review claims and determine appropriate underwriting action
- Resolve issues with brokers and agents professionally
Requirements:
- Three to five years in personal lines auto underwriting
- Three to five years in personal lines property underwriting
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Proficient with Word, Access, and Excel
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
