Who We Are: C-Care is a healthcare staffing agency with over 20 years of experience in providing high quality care services to homes and healthcare facilities. We are currently looking for a Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to work with our client, a pain management clinic, located in Waterloo/Kitchener, ON on a full-time basis.
Scope and Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to patients by demonstrating clinical competency, including but not limited to, conducting physical assessments, medication reconciliation, and monitoring patient condition.
- Documenting clinical assessments and treatments accurately and in a timely manner, in accordance with CNO and clinic standards.
- Perform procedure set up, equipment disinfection, procedure room after care, maintaining adequate supplies for the clinic.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other clinical team members.
- Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and that the highest level of patient care and services is provided to all patients.
- Assist with documentation and other administrative duties within the clinic as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Active and current RPN license with CNO.
- At least 1 year of nursing experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
- Valid BLS Certificate.
