Group Express is hiring a Class 1 / AZ driver for regular domestic deliveries across Ontario and Quebec, departing from Alexandria.
ROUTE & SCHEDULE
- Departure: Alexandria, ON
- Routes: Ontario and Quebec, with an occasional NS load
- Full-load freight with approximately 2–5 deliveries per trip; return empty
- Schedule: approximately 5–6 days per week
- Equipment: Pre-loaded trailers, Roll-Tite and dry box trailers with barn doors.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Complete assigned deliveries and pickups safely
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Verify paperwork and confirm deliveries
- Maintain accurate electronic logs and comply with regulations
REQUIREMENTS
- Valid Class 1 or AZ licence
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable tractor-trailer driving experience
- Clean driving record and strong commitment to safety
- Strong organization and professionalism with customers
